Michael Mukiibi, Ph.D. – Team Lead

I have spent most of my working life in environments where writing determines whether something moves forward or stalls. My background is in global health and program work, and over the years I have worked on projects supported by organizations such as the World Health Organization, U.S. government–funded health programs, and international development agencies operating in Africa and the United States. A large part of my work has always involved explaining complex work to people who were not in the room when it happened. I wrote grant narratives, program reports, policy submissions, compliance documents, and other materials that had to be reviewed, approved, or funded. When the writing was clear, decisions moved. When it was not, good work got stuck. That experience is what shaped what I do today. I now focus on helping people and organizations put their work into clear, well-structured writing when the outcome depends on it. This includes grant and funding applications, proposals and institutional submissions, compliance and policy documentation, and other forms of structured writing used in regulated or review-based processes. One area where this work shows up clearly is immigration. I support professionals who are self-petitioning through merit-based U.S. immigration pathways such as EB-1A and EB-2 National Interest Waiver. My role is about helping clients explain their work, their experience, and their value in a way that makes sense to an adjudicator who is seeing their case for the first time. Alongside this work, I am a Managing Partner at ApHO Care Services, a home care agency based in Arizona, United States. I hold a Ph.D. in Public Health, graduate training in medical microbiology and public health, and formal training in project management and leadership. Ready to start your project?
